A+ Conferencing understands the responsibility to protect our
Customer’s personal information. We want to stress to you,
that although some organizations sell or share Customer information to
outside marketers, A+ does not participate in this practice. This
policy discloses A+’s practices with respect to the
collection, use and disclosure of Customer information through the A+
site and use of you’re A+ services.
Collecting
Information:
A+ collects and utilizes various types of Customer information in order
to service your account and better understand your needs. This allows
A+ to help you save time, money and determine which services may be of
interest to you.
The information collected about a Customer is as follows:
- Company Name
- Contact Name
- Address
- Telephone Number(s)
- Credit Card Number(s)
- Credit History
- References
- Any other information necessary to
service your account
When you register to use any of the services offered by A+, A+ will
send you a confirmation of your registration showing the Customer
Information we obtained from your registration. A+ will also take steps
to allow you to correct any inaccuracies in the Customer Information
provided. Additionally, A+ will delete any Customer Information upon
request.
Security:
The Customer Information we collect is stored in an operating
environment that utilizes reasonable security measures and is not
available to the general public. Access to Customer Information is
limited to those individuals who need to know the information in order
to service your account. A+ employees are bound by a strict code of
ethics and are subject to disciplinary action for any violation of this
code.
In the case of credit card numbers and other financial information,
Customer Information is encrypted for even greater protection. However,
A+ is not responsible for unauthorized access to such information by
hackers or others that obtain access through illegal means, in the
absence if negligence by A+. This is why A+ continually takes steps to
update our technology to better protect our Customers.
The Customer is responsible for all Personal Identification Numbers
(PINs) issued by A+. If you believe an unauthorized third party has
obtained your PINs, please notify A+ immediately.
Disclosing
Information for Legal Purposes:
A+ may disclose Customer Information if so required law or a good-faith
belief such action is necessary. This may be done in the following
instances (list not all-inclusive):
- to conform with the law or comply with
legal process served on A+ or its affiliates
- to protect and defend our rights or the
rights of our Customers
- an audit or examination by any
governmental agency
- to protect the personal safety of our
Customers or the public
- in connection with a merger,
consolidation or sale of substantial assets of A+
Third-Party Sites
accessed from A+ Website:
The A+ Website may contain links and/or advertisements to other
websites (“Third-Party Sites”). These links are
provided solely for convenience to our Customers. If you utilize these
links, you have left the A+ Website. A+ has not reviewed all
Third-Party Sites and does not control or make any representations
about any information contained therein. If you decide to access any of
the Third-Party Sites, you do so at your own risk. A+ recommends
familiarizing yourself with the security and privacy policies of any
new website you visit.
Changes to Privacy
Policy:
A+ reserves the right to modify the Privacy Policy at any time. You are
advised to review the Privacy Policy each time you utilize the A+
Website, as your continued use of the Website and Services denotes your
assent to any modifications.
Complaints:
If at any time you believe A+ has acted contrary to this Privacy
Policy, please notify us by email at helpdesk@aplusconferencing.com
and we will take steps to investigate and remedy the problem. |
